Focusing on even *one breath* can make all the difference. How does one get used to the new breathing patterns. How much integration of these techniques need to happen for a sustained benefit?

KK, That's a great question. I think its not so much a matter of how long it takes to integrate the breath techniques - but rather about cultivating an awareness of when our breathing is not natural or correct - so that we can quickly and easily bring ourselves back to balance. The more aware one is - the quicker the correction happens and the less often one has to do it. What is also valuable is finding out what triggers the irregular breathing and collapsing the underlying triggers.
